After being reinstated with the rest of the squad, Weston #McKennie's
renewal with the Juventus club for another season is being defined. The American midfielder, therefore, would remain linked to Juventus until 2026.

Federico Chiesa is not part of Juventus' plans: Thiago Motta also reiterated this several times during the pre-season. Barcelona continues to press the Italian striker as they hope to close the deal.

In order to secure the Juventus player, it is first necessary for Barcelona to register the purchase of Dani Olmo (it should happen tomorrow, August 22nd). At that point, the negotiation could materialize and Chiesa's arrival in Spain become a reality. [Gianluca Di Marzio]

Juventus are hoping to use the money from the sale of Federico Chiesa to try and find a solution to bring Jadon Sancho to Turin.

Juve could make an offer of an expensive loan with a buy clause attached and the rest of the Chiesa money used towards Sancho's high salary. [Fabiana Delle Valle]

  1. I used to love Chiesa, but he turned into a primadonna and kinda one/two dimensional player.

We welcomed you with open arms, waited for you to get healthy, we had your back with Allegri and now you ask for more money that you haven’t deserved it. Could’ve taken the extension and earned it, yet you’ll take a pay cut with Barca?? You really must hate us. Good riddance, go abroad. No one is bigger than the club. FORZA Juve per sempre

  2. Chiesa is a great player he just hasn’t adjusted to his acl injury. I know he will find better form in the future but it won’t be with juve. I wish him the best and hope to see him in his best form… just not against us

  3. I’m not a fan of the Sancho move. We’re probably not be a scudetto contender nor are we gonna try to win the CL. Why throwing away all the money for Sancho? Doesn’t make sense to me.

  4. Please no Sancho. Overrated and overpaid, would rather find some prospects to loan in over that and save the money for the window.

I’m happy if McKennie stays so long as he isn’t an issue in the locker room. He’s rounded up to be a great contributor.

  5. Not sure about the Sancho hate, he’s a solid player. Not many options on the market who are better at the moment. Chiesa, was my favourite player, and I’ll still follow his career at Barca, but yes the writing is on the wall, and he has to leave or risk being frozen out of the squad. And I don’t want to see that.

McKennie is solid, and I’m glad he’s been reintegrated if he signs an extension.

  6. Why are they insisting on Sancho?? Dude is worth less than Chiesa in my opinion. Hasn’t done anything since moving to Man Utd the first time.
