The crew of a Russian BMP-3 during the chaos of the battle in the village of “Russkaya Konopelka” (People’s Republic of Kursk) accidentally opens fire on and destroys a Russian BMP-2 which it mistook for a Ukrainian “Cossack” armored vehicle

  1. Unfortunately the full length video shows Ukraine lost some equipment in this battle as well.

  2. We are lucky they are so stupid. The motto of the Ukrainian defence.

  3. imagine the Kozak getting hit by the BMP-3… that’s so fortunate

  4. That bmp3 must ve been on some strong vodka to be this stupid. First misses the m113, then firing point blank at his own. rusia in full glory here.

  5. Russia ” second best army in the world ”. Second best in Russia !

  6. Did the cope cage prevent the first BMP from aiming at the UA vehicle?

  7. I saw another video with the same footage today claiming it was a Ukrainian friendly fire incident. It was obviously a lie since the V and triangle are clearly visible.

  8. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but that BMP2 with a cage was Ukrainian.

    * It has the Ukrainian type net “cage”
    * V in front is just obsucred delta or triangle symbol
    * Longer version of that video shows some surviving crew bailing wearing blue tape

  9. This is like the 3rd russian friendly fire incident in Kursk. Reminds me of the early war. Total mess and lack of coordination. Especially on the Russian side, since Ukrainians are very good at operating on smaller battalion/company size forces while russians consistently suck at it

  10. I love the fact the Ukrainian tank just nopes out backwards

  11. that village is east of sudzha(sue jha).

nice to see moscovian villages are being treated to moscovian mir.

  12. I wonder how this hole situation unfolded in the first place?

It seems like the kozak and the bmp had like a stand-off watching each other without any engagement?

  13. Ok, so many different views. If the BMP2 was Ukrainian, why would the Cossack take off? Two vs one in this case. Which makes me believe there are two Russian BMPs and the M113 and Cossack are Ukrainian. Any updates on this?

  14. I can imagine the Kozak-2 driver, seeing the BMP’s look right at each other going:

“Imma gonna let you do your thing, hee hee heee… Holy Fuck! It worked! Bwahahahaha!”

    – That some THICK fog of war, mistaking a rather high profile 4×4 wheeled lightly armed and armoured MRAP for a low-profile 30mm cannon armed tracked IFV.

  16. Good of the ruzzians to provide cover for the Ukrainian’s withdrawal down the road

  17. “It wasn’t my fault. Blyat. The other BMP was wearing a homeless shelter. Blyat.”

  18. Good troll move by the Kozak 😉 Even if it was accidental, I think they should claim it as a level 100 tactical manipulation move.

  19. Holy shit I was expecting some long range engagement, that was point blank!

  20. Russia demonstrates the friendly behaviour we know and expect

  21. Cannot really make out or udnerstand what’s happening, but my inner peace is restored by seeing all that burning of Russian homes. Welcome to War! Total War – Sherman style.

  22. So the Ukrainian vehicle seen it and noped out. Wonder if they realised the other one would get shot?

  23. Right near the start of the video (start of the second scene) it looks like the BMP2 fires at the Ukrainian vehicle, before the driver and cope cage conspire to remove firing angles.
