She reported it to the police and they did nothing.
*The police were present at the time, I reported it to them and they let him go without taking his details or checking the CCTV. I filed a complaint against the officers and their supervisor got back to me and essentially said “they’re humans and made a mistake”.’*
Brilliant. The police have admitted to doing nothing about it until the video was shared this week.
So now you know. If you’re assaulted and want the police to do something about it, you film it and post it online.
WTF? That poor woman.
What does ‘slapped’ mean when using an object?
Words looking for are ‘hit’ or ‘assaulted’
What a pos. I can only imagine what his poor wife has to deal with at home.
why would he do it though i can’t begin to understand
Watched the Video, so suprising, an Arab no wonder they didn’t follow up, they are the new chosen people after all.
The police in this country don’t catch criminals they just give the illusion they catch criminals.
This is easy for them, all they do is ignore 99% of crime and the only crimes they are willing to solve is crime that has been posted online and has lots of engagement or it’s a political issue at the time.
Two tier policing again. Everyone knows why they let him go
Slapped?! Bludgeoned more like.
Uh… Isn’t this assault with a weapon?
The police need a serious overhaul at this point. No one I know has any good stories, they’re either throwing around their weight or not bothering to help when something has happened. On multiple occasions they’ve burst into my home in a raid, only to realise they’ve had the wrong house. I don’t know how things are working on the organised crime or terrorism level, but on the actually helping the average victim level they’re god awful.
Don’t even get me started in how they handle sexual assault.
