UK ministers rule out joining youth mobility scheme with EU. Ministers have reiterated their opposition to any deal with Brussels allowing young people to live and work in EU countries, after a report said some elements of this could be agreed as part of a wider set of negotiations.

  1. Well yes. They were elected on a platform of controlling immigration.

    Opting back into a policy which would see a net increase in immigration would be a bad idea.

  2. The people of the U.K (as a collective) voted to leave the E.U. As much as I dislike it, that’s democracy – a notion that seem foreign to the S.N.P these days.
