Kamala Harris avoids getting specific on climate change — for now

1. Independent voters don’t want to hear that some hard decisions are going to need to be made.

2. I think that’s wise. There’s no debate to had with Trump about the specifics climate policy. He wants none and to erase the little we already have. Harris wants some and what she can do will be completely dependent on congress and whether Dems keep the senate and filibuster.

   Putting out a bunch of specific policy proposals just opens her up to more lines of attack.

3. It’s because she, like Biden, won’t do anything to significantly reduce or mitigate the effects of climate change.

4. Wow it’s like the journalists didn’t bother to read the party policy platform sections on climate change and what to do about it. Plenty of specifics there and Vice President Harris had to approve them (she is now the defacto head of the party)

5. Whatever her policy is, I guarantee it’s better than the orange dude’s, and she has my vote. Not that I’m a single issue voter, but climate change is the biggest issue in the future and important
