The OG Blade is an iconic 90s film and probably the best superhero movie when it comes to style and tone outside maybe the Nolan Dark Knight.
Snipes was a perfect fit and made the role his own, forever changing the character. Its one of my favorite films of all time. Does it have cheesy moments and rough CGI? Sure I guess. But it also has awesome fight scenes, decent acting for a superhero movie AND has legitimately funny writing and in general the writing has its own style and tone that exists outside of the annoying Marvel movie “Whedon” “Oh he’s right behind me, isn’t he” boilerplate.
Kris Kristofferson has a great monologue in the first Blade.
I’m down for another Blade movie but I like vamp movies so I’m biased.

Wesley snipes was an absolute nightmare on the set of blade trinity. He doesn’t deserve another shot.
