Drew Barrymore will try to ‘practice physical distance’ when her talk show returns: ‘Not my strong point!’

  2. I’ve seen her show and the interviews are weird, she just basically climbs in people’s laps practically. I’m waiting for her to have her guests wear one of those things you put babies in, except Drew is in it and she interviews her guests that way.

  4. Honestly she should just do whatever she feels comfortable with. I couldn’t care less if she has her legs up on the couch or whatever.

  5. Her voice annoys me and I cannot watch her show. It’s very irritating.

  7. I’m not an anti-masker, but it is strange to me that she makes everyone wear those bright yellow masks in the audience and then climbs all over people during her interviews.

  8. I can’t watch clips of her show because it is so uncomfortable to watch. She gets close to people regardless of the other person’s body language. Some people are physically leaning away from her and she’s clawing at them, it’s so bizarre.

  9. I think she interrupts a bit too much,
    i don’t care about the couch stuff but it should be the guest’s choice. Some ppl are just reserved and not huggers, but it can feel nice for someone to be attentive!
      and i think she’s trying to show she’s deeply interested in her guests

  10. I can only watch the show a few minutes at a time because she connects with people WAY too deeply. She’s totally manic!

  11. Her behavior is unprofessional. Guests are booked on her show to promote what they’ve got going on. They’re *working* and not there to snuggle with Drew. It’s a very weird thing to do to strangers.

    It makes me very uncomfortable, so I don’t watch her show.

  14. Her show was always on at the gym and I would see her weird lack of awareness of personal space and it would just grind my gears. Not everyone wants you to be on your knees in front of them holding their hand trying to get the feels out.

Maybe not so much now, but maybe 10 or 15 years ago, if I went on vacation or a work trip and came home telling my friends, ‘You’re going to have to keep this between us, but I sat next to Drew Barrymore on my flight from JFK to LAX, and… she asked me out for drinks… and, well, you know. That’s all I can say about it for now. I think she’s still married.. it’s kind of confusing,’ then I bet my friends would believe it.

    Not that there’s anything wrong with that prospect.
