Ik begrijp dat bedrijven winsten willen maken, maar de werkende en invalide mensen in armoede duwen om zulke woekerwinsten te boeken, daar kan ik met mijn verstand niet bij.

That’s 7.8% profit, seems reasonable.
To put it in other terms – if the company were a non-profit (i.e. aim for 0% profit), the prices would be at most 8% cheaper. Do you think that would really have made a big difference in terms of pushing people into poverty?
We’re talking about a bill of €920 instead of €1000. If you want to castigate anyone, check with the government, not with a private company that’s making 8% profit.
Cool. Meanwhile families literally can’t pay the thousands of euros that start coming in after the yearly reading.
Yay for making profits!
You should rather protest against the government because of the absurd distribution costs and taxes.
link doesn’t work
yeah we teally need electrical heating and more nuclear reactors
The world is a cruel place. Joining the resistance is the only option left.
This is perfectly natural:
Corporations have a job, that is making money. Just like anyone else. In this energycrisis the costs of fossile fuels have risen while Electric companies broke down, demand rises, prices rise.
Its only logical that companies selling fuel have more buyers and can as a result naturally ask more. Thats how economy, and the human mind, works.
If we punish companies for making money in a perfect situation becaude they just have their supply in order then we´re honestly doing things wrong. A company that makes money when they shouldnt however should not be possible.
Btw: I´m not against controlling corporations. We need FAR more control on them. However Inm against the rash opinions people have that a succesfull corporation is a wrong one. Total is przopably anything but a moral company, but you qhouldnt be looking at their income for their, but their practices.
