Demonstrators gathered near the Democratic national convention in Chicago to demonstrate against US aid of Israel’s war in Gaza, intent on sending a message to the Democratic party, that their votes need to be earned and not to take their support for granted.

    If the child of Gaza could speak, he would say to you: "By defending my executioner you are making me die doubly. He took my life, you are taking my soul, so how can I rest in peace?"

    He would say to you: "You, who were his executioner, do you think you can erase your crimes by helping him make me his victim?"

    He would say to you: "But you, who helped him in the name of justice, why don't you do it for me, how am I different that I don't deserve, out of humanity, a little compassion?"
