Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Ukraine where he will meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This is the first visit by an Indian prime minister to Ukraine since its independence from the Soviet Union. Modi’s visit follows a trip to Poland where he held talks with his counterpart Donald Tusk. India has so far avoided explicitly condemning the Russian invasion and has abstained on UN resolutions that criticise the Kremlin. While in Poland, Modi said India supports dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace in Ukraine.

India has no power or money to influence anybody. Indian GDP per capita like in Trouble Bangladesh and social indices below Bangladesh. a poor leader of a poor country has no gut to tell Putin to bow down. China can do that, but China is the main supplier of goods to Russia, and getting discount natural resources from Russia will not do anything, but support Russia to continue what they are doing for the benefit of China.
Trust India at your peril. Modi is just posing and seeks profit from Ukraine's reconstruction and whatever else he can get. All India really does is keep Russia's war machine going.
