  1. I know its easy to act the hard man on Reddit, but this shit is nearly militarizing me

  2. This are real human being correct?

It’s been verified they’re not bots. The article just quotes ‘users’

  3. The far right are already doing this. They’ve been [attacking](https://www.irishtimes.com/crime-law/2024/07/20/its-going-to-be-a-power-struggle-the-irish-right-wing-extremists-preparing-for-violence/) asylum seekers in broad daylight and accusing them of abducting kids so noone will help them. I’ve seen some of the videos and they’re very disturbing.

    >In particular, gardaí are concerned about the growing number of violent attacks on asylum seekers which are being filmed and uploaded to social media, before being shared in the far-right online ecosystem.
Almost a dozen such videos have gone viral in recent months. In most cases, the footage was accompanied by claims that the assault victim had been caught engaging in a crime of some sort, usually involving a perceived threat to children. “In most if not all cases, there was absolutely nothing to support that they were a threat to anyone, including children,” said a senior garda.

  4. Far right loons talking shite on X.

Must be a slow morning in the news cycle.

  5. If you still have an account on Shitter, you’re part of the problem. It’s a zombie platform now.

  6. Go to article for sources. Absolutely none. Comment by Gardaí saying there’s skepticism of posts in recent months.

    Pure fearmongering.

  7. Why are we labelling anti immigrant people as far right? Most of them don’t have a breeze about other political issues. anti immigrant terrorists or xenophobes would be accurate.

  8. There’s a massive whiff of these guys trying to mirror narratives (the non-racist ones, e.g. regarding electoral politics not resulting in change), that _actual opponents of misgovernance_ on the left would use.

I think they are trying to pre-emptively trigger reflexive police/legal/government crackdowns on anything which even _looks like_ future left-leaning organization, that strays anywhere away from ineffective political action (i.e. that threatens to have actual/effective political results).

This is the most likely purpose of the far right. It’s not coincidence that it is government parties who have _gained_ politically, from the far right – and they should be viewed as 1: Set up to directly fight any effective left-leaning opposition, and 2: _Set up to mirror what an effective left-leaning opposition may have to look like, to justify government crackdowns targeting the left._

This follows the pattern historically, of how far-right movements are really tools for bolstering power.

This is also why people have to be very careful of the kinds of political/legal/etc. crackdowns they call for, against the far right: Those are the tactics that will be used against _you_ as well, in the near-future – which means you better ground them in strong support of civil liberties.

  9. These people are the lowest form of scum. Why are the Gardaí insisting on a hands off policy? How many people have to be attacked, killed? How many riots? How many building burned down before these scumbags are arrested, tried in the SCC and locked up for a long time.

The defence of the SCC and the argument for its continuance was precisely for situations like this. We need to have a zero tolerance policy to nazis.

  10. It’s painful watching us be targeted by the fascist Internationale and no one realising. People spread fascist propaganda and hate across every wavelength and when it is called out people cover it up with the EXACT same talking points every time.

“Why is questioning the government far right”

    “They’re just concerned citizens”

“It’s not racist to suggest we’ve taken in too many”

The replies to this comment are going to back up my statement. We’re being targeted by fascist agents all reading the same script.
