  1. Newsweek is garbage. Ignore polls. VOTE.

    (Preferably for Harris…)

  2. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

  3. So Kennedy is hurting trump almost as much as Vance. LMFAO

  4. FDU is ranked 2.6 out of 3 stars and is 28th out of 477 pollsters. So pretty good pollster.

  5. Newsweek article later today will say Trump is up 10 points

  6. How many of the comments are “GREAT DOESN’T MATTER VOTE”

    Excitement is not complacency and the people who read this sub are plugged in.

  7. VOTE:

    1) to ensure that Harris wins;

    2) to win legislative seats for the people (and not billionaires);

    3) to send a message.

  8. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.newsweek.com/kamala-harris-takes-7-point-lead-over-donald-trump-national-poll-1943901) reduced by 79%. (I’m a bot)

    > Most national aggregate polls place Harris at the top of the race, with RealClearPolitics showing Harris up by 1.5 percentage points, 48.4 percent to Trump's 46.9 percent, and The New York Times aggregate showing Harris with a 2-percentage point lead, 49 to 47 percent.

  9. That’s not wide enough.

    Knock on doors. Make phone calls. Post on your socials, make a plan.

    Our democracy depends on it

  10. In 2020 Biden won the popular vote by 5 points and it took 5 days to count the votes to determine who won the Electoral College.

    If Harris wins the popular vote by 7 points hopefully that will allow her to win the Electoral College as well.

    It would be ultimate sadness to see the American experiment to build a democracy die while a majority of American voters are voting to have it continue.

  11. Looking forward to the day when we don’t have to see “vote” under every damn post. I appreciate the sentiment and the work. But damn

    I’m going to vote. VOTE

  12. I, for one, am just ready for the debates and hoping Nov comes by fast enough. I hate election years, ugh!

  13. In a normal society it would be 30 points.

    This is not a matchup. This is not a contest. The difference between these people is enormous, and it is obvious which one is a better human, a smarter human, a more experienced public servent, proposes policies to help people, etc.

    Our society is broken that it’s even this close.

  14. Biden had a nine point polling lead and only won by a few thousand votes in the swing states.

  15. Ignore and vote. And make sure everyone you know will vote. Cuz the MAGA fans absolutely will

  16. Who cares, don’t let off the gas, make it incontestable

  17. Bullshit! VOTE like she’s just behind, because with republican cheating, manipulation and the EC in play, she is!

  18. If you are planning to vote Red dont bother, stay home.

  19. I remember voting in 2016. Every day we laughed at Trump and said how he doesn’t have a chance. Everyone got to comfortable. I feel like it’s happening all over again.

  20. If the popular vote actually mattered, I’d be happy about this news.

  21. I anticipate her winning the popular vote by close to ten million. Which means nothing.

  22. Needs to be more. How many people are still going to vote orange? It’s fucking crazy.
