  1. Improvised police car??? Golf was the real deal in Yugoslavia, not improvised at all! Next to that you had Zastava 101 police cars. Not sure what you’d call that one if you find this one improvised 😁

  2. It’s sad thinking about what could’ve been in those early months, in terms of the nature of the Bosnian Army. Seems like in the beginning there was a genuine effort for it to be multi-ethnic, a Bosnian Army for all Bosnians, resisting the extremists, with a Serb as Deputy Commander and apparently consisting of [15% Serbs](https://apnews.com/article/0ca6ee2e3746eba06f6f29af67364581), with [Serb snipers in the Bosnian Army](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hga7FV5lkOg) counter-sniping the Serbs on the hills. Wish the distrust hadn’t destroyed this idea, might’ve had a much more unified Bosnian identity now. But perhaps I’m naive and this was never actually realistically possible.
