Armenia can communicate for sure, however the wording and accent changes might make it difficult.
They couldn’t communicate no matter what since the languages would be substantially different from today’s.

It always surprises me to see Basque country being so big in South western France in these maps, is there a Basque cartography mafia on Reddit? I don’t mean this as an insult but Basque country has never been this big at any point in history in France.
