The comments, made during the Indian leader’s first visit to Kyiv since the war began, were among his most direct statements on the fallout of Russia’s full-scale invasion 2 1/2 years ago. Even as Ukraine has sought India’s support in driving back Russian aggression, Modi has refrained from criticizing the Kremlin’s attack.

“I want to assure you and the world of India’s respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Modi told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy during their meeting, which lasted well longer than scheduled. “Solutions can be found through dialog and diplomacy — and we must move in that direction with both sides with no time to waste,” he said.

  2. Lol again, India had overestimated their worth and strength. India has nothing that Russia needs and thus no leverage on the bargaining table with Russia. Remember Russia was complainning about having too much Indian Rupees because there is nothing that Russia needs from India that couldn't be bought elsewhere and hence India has to pay Russian oil in Chinese currency? 🤭😅🤣😂To think that India has any game changing influence on Russia is only a delusional thought. Arnaud Bertrand said, "India increased its imports of Russian oil by a staggering 1,800% since the war in Ukraine, whilst China increased its import of Russian oil by… 43%"…. Would India give up it's goldmine?

His own family lives luxury life in Switzerland having billions of american dollars and civilians of both countries are getting killed

  19. Do people here imparting their rubbish wisdom have any idea how much military supply is gone to India's arch nemesis Islamic Pakistan thru Ukraine? Despite that India is not picking sides and is ready to host both nations (which btw it can chose not to). Yet many fools from west who don't even know what lies ahead of borders of their own country target India 😂
