To all the 90% of drivers here who never bother their hole to use it. It lets other drivers know if you are changing lanes or turning.

Why dont most morons here use it, are you all braindead? Do you think it makes you look cool? Like, it's right there. It requires zero mental capacity to use you stick the finger up and then the lights go blink. Simple

Dont get me started on pedestrians who step out in front of bikes or poorly try to cross busy roads at the wrong time with only looking one way, whilst standing 4 feet away from traffic lights…

And now we move on to liars…

  1. Hard being perfect init mate 😂

    Edit

And they’ve posted the wiper controls 😂😂😂😂😂☠️

  2. Is that what it’s for? Shit, I thought it was a holder for my cigar.

  3. It was an optional extra on my BMW, which I didn’t opt for.

  4. Actually mate if you look closely you’ll realise that’s not an indicator, moving that stalk would actually turn the wipers on which does not (contrary to what you may believe) help other road users figure out where you are going.

I recommend trying the other one.

  5. I don’t drive, but if you’d like to elaborate further on your insurance claim, I’ve nothing better to do 🍿

  6. I don’t want to wear the bulb out by using it. I want to keep it good for the MOT test.

  7. Isn’t that for the wiper though. Now thanks to you everyone is going to be using their wiper while turning/changing lanes

  8. Any wonder why no one indicates when they’re using the stalk to control the wipers and screenwash

  9. My trust issues are on the floor so I don’t even trust people who do use their indicators at junctions or roundabouts anymore, because I’m not sure some people know right from left.

  10. Only an idiot needs them. Just look at where the car is facing and you’ll know where it’s going.
    Aparently this was needed… /s

  11. Mate my biggest pet peeve since moving to this country is absolutely nobody uses indicators. Its not the A1 killing people. Its people.

  12. No, this is the wiper stalk, or possibly this is Patrick.

  13. 1. That’s the wrong stalk. But point made.

    2. Even when people use indicators now, far too often it’s way too late. They fire on the brakes then the indicators at the last second.
The order is mirror – signal – manoeuvre. Braking IS part of the move.

    Fucking morons.

  14. what if you studied a masters degree, do you have to use indicators then?…🤔

  15. Don’t know what you’re talking about mate I use my wipers to show where I’m going all the time

  16. Don’t want to burst your bubble and ruin the magic (it should really be your mum and dad who tells you this), but the indicator is just a myth; a fairy tale for children.

Sorry, but its no more real than Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, The Queen of England, the Spedometer on a black VW Golf and white Audi A4, and the full beam toggle on the M2 fron Derry to Belfast

  17. In fairness, my indicator controls had failed in my car. So it took a couple of days before the garage could get in the spare part for repair.

  18. It’s left or right, not up or down! Ya got the indicator part right though.

  19. Now it makes sense!! Why that little old lady drove into the side of me with her windscreen wipers flying all over the place on a sunny day 😑

  20. Mate I thought that was just the twisty knob you use for full beams that you turn on when you buy the car and then leave alone

  21. And all this time I’ve been using the one that controls the lights. Feel so silly

  22. This has been a public service announcement to all Audi and BMW drivers.

  23. Every fucker with a 1.6L engine and a pack of stickers here thinks they’re a formula 1 driver. Mix that in with an aging population of boomers who think indicating is an invasion of their civil liberties and you have a hit-and-hope roulette at every junction.

  24. A very timely post for me… I’m just in the door after a foul-mouthed tirade at some <insert favourite term-of-endearment> who was driving like a chump in front of me and then pulled into a parking space without the slightest hint at indication.
