  1. Look, I know he has a disorder that causes his voice to sound the way it does, but I’m going to be honest and say that I can’t listen to him speak for more than 2 minutes.

    Also, I read excerpts of the transcript, and his speech was extraordinarily dumb, so there’s that too. But that’s a given.

  7. I don’t know if I truly understand this move by RFKjr. In his speech suspending his campaign, he stated he is not dropping out of the race. He will appear on some ballots, I think ten states. So what is the point of this move?

  12. Because it was unwatchable, whiny garbage. I tried to watch it, but after 15 minutes all I got was an old privileged dude playing the victim and spouting nonsense like “please vote for me in non swing states. If there’s a contingent election I could still win the presidency.”

  19. I think the media needs to get better at how they cover 3rd party candidates. This isn’t Ross Perot or even George Wallace not every 3rd party candidate is a viable candidate that deserves attention from news organizations. Only take them seriously if they are a serious campaign that has actually built up momentum and deserves the attention of the media. Stop giving every RFK and Jill Stein our attention every 4 years. If it’s just because you don’t like the electoral college how about pointing out how flawed the electoral college is every 4 years rather than trying to support a third party candidate that isn’t a viable candidate. There are actual legislative measures that are trying to be passed to get rid of the electoral college. Support those causes rather than these candidates.

  23. Was it an endorsement ??? What does this even mean:

    “I want everyone to know that **I am not terminating my campaign**. I am simply suspending it and not ending it. My name will remain on the ballot in most states. If you live in a blue state, you can vote for me without harming or helping President Trump or Vice President Harris. In red states, the same will apply. **I encourage you to vote for me**. And if enough of you do vote for me, and neither of the major party candidates win 270 votes, which is quite possible — in fact today our polling shows them tying at 269 to 269 — and **I could conceivably still end up in the White House** in a contingent election. But in about 10 battleground states where my presence would be a spoiler, I’m gonna remove my name, and I’ve already started that process and urged voters not to vote for me.   28. Your most annoying relatives will point to this as evidence of some coverup, but I’d like to add that the man spoke for like an hour. Covering a third party candidate who is polling at like 5% for as long as they did is more than expected

  31. This man is after access and power. He doesn’t represent any deeply held values despite his campaign platform. In many ways, his lying and mental gymnastics suit the MAGA world.

    There are those who followed him who will wake up after this and realize he was playing the spoiler to exact revenge on the DNC. Some of his followers have shared values with the Harris campaign and we need to make sure they know they are welcome in the Harris big tent.

    As for RFK Jr, he made his own bed and his own legacy. History will not remember him kindly.

  37. The same guy that 11 days prior in a CBS interview vehemently said he would not take any offers from Donald Trump and that he is in the campaign to win it until the end. ::facepalm::

  38. He’s a nothing and his campaign was nothing more than a nuisance. The networks don’t owe him any time.

  39. The DNC wouldn’t give RFK the time of day so he ran off to the GOP to grift off of them. Good. They can keep him.
