The good thing about stealth fighters is you don’t have to buy them, you can just say you bought them. Nobody needs to see them flying.

I wonder why they didn’t chose Rafale: they’re cheaper and are made by allies in Europe. In addition, the F35 has issues in cold weather. There is also one major advantage rafale has over f35 for Finland: the rafale can do air-to-air refueling, while the f35 can’t. It’s something to consider when you are a country without air tanker as it can drastically reduce your capabilities.
