I found this cute little game at a Chicago-area Goodwill (charity shop), and I’m curious as to how it’s played or any english translation for the name. Thank you.

  1. Wikipedia has a surprisingly good English page about this game, you should czech it out 🙂

Czech name is: *Člověče nezlob se*. German name is: *Mensch ärgere Dich nicht*. An accurate English translation (of both the German and Czech name) would be what the Wikipedia page mentions: *Man, Don’t Get Angry*.

  2. It’s basically Ludo, in English the name could be translated as “Don’t be mad”, which refers to the fact that people argue a lot at this game. It’s quite a popular game, probably not as much as 20 years ago, but it’s a classic.

  3. Very shitty game, one of most hated, becoase its only about luck. So you basically only roll dice and walk.

  4. ah, my grandpa’s favourite game, brought back memories

  5. I’d translate it as “don’t get upset man”

Simple game but it traumatized me
