Ukrainian MFA Calls on Belarus to Pull Back Troops from Northern Border

  1. I would find it hard to believe that any advancement made by Belarus would not be met with additional support to Ukraine. Not saying a massive NATO response but I wouldn’t be shocked to see a close country say ‘nope!’ And maybe some air support arrives to quickly shut down anything.

  2. I feel ukraine would wholesale slaughter their entire army in 2 months.

  3. Lolkaschenko must be on suicide watch if he risks loosing one third of his troops

  4. Article says it’s about 1000 people on the border right now. About the amount that are getting killed/wounded each day in the war. Isn’t this just fear mongering or is this part of a bigger build up not mentioned in the article?

  5. If any case.. let’s just make sure Ukraine has everything it needs.

  6. How powerful is Belarus’s army? I’m pretty sure they’re weaker than Russia, but are they something to worry about, or are they obsolete?

  7. Does Russia have enough soldiers to take over and hold Belarus?

  8. I think Belarus would be insane to attack Ukraine. Lukanhesko does not have nearly as tight a grip on power as Putin in Russia. If the attack, I bet the west will used whatever resources they have to undermine his government and Russia will not have the resources to bail them out this time.

  9. So far Lucashenko seems to be smarter than Putin as he didn’t attack when Putin demanded and even managed to dismantle the whole Prigozin fiasco for Putler. I bet he is just doing this just to sorta say because Putler asked him to attack Ukraine (due to desperation of the whole second battle of Kursk). So he sents troops, Putin thinks he will attack, then he acts all goofy and gives and excuse and doesn’t attack

  10. Ukraine seems much more confident in it’s communication to belarus.

This message is much more of a threat than previous communications.

  11. How loyal would the Belarusian army be if they were ordered to attack Ukraine? I watched the election aftermath there closely and I get the impression they would rather take out Lukashenko than fight Ukraine. Army and security services are very different.
