    Holy shit, if she really has a 32-point lead among moderates, we are looking at a 2008 Obama-level victory for Harris. Of course, we have to continue putting in the work to make sure her lead endures and grows though. Let’s do our part to make sure that MAGA becomes just another blip in the history books.

  7. just want to point out to folks that the poll explicitly says it primes voters before asking them questions, aka, this data is for the campaign to determine messaging, not for determining the current state of the electorate.

  8. This is terribly embarrassing for RFK. If you read what his followers are saying they’re still going to write his name in because they are mostly interested in hitting the 5% threshold for a third party so they get more money next election. Many of them have decided not to vote. Probably less than 20% will actually vote for Trump. In the end he sold out for nothing.

  9. Harris gets an A+ for her campaigning so far and she has a good foundation for the real battle which is yet to begin.

    Now it’s time for the policy phase – announcing them, explaining them, defending them.

    This is a different political skill.

    If she gets all her policies on the table, defends them under fire and her polls show ~10% lead over Trump, then I’ll feel pretty good.

    But great job so far VP Harris.

  10. I’ve seen about 10 articles about this one poll. It’s great, but it seems like an outlier. We need the average of all polls to get to 7 points before we get too excited.

  14. I am not looking at polls, I know this is going to be tough race. I know a lot of people in our country are still racists and misogynistic, and they will vote against Kamala. I am worried about the single issue voters in our party, especially young kids who are out protesting about Gaza.

    Every extra percentage that Harris gets over Trump will help make America’s future brighter – it’s a symbol of hope that will be remembered into the future. It’s a reminder that Trump and his ilk do not have the support they think they have.

    You want to crush him. You want to put him in the dirt, make sure nobody runs with the same policies that the MAGA republicans have ever again.

    (Choice of wording and pronouns used because I am not a US citizen, but am hopeful for a positive shift in American politics as it affects the entire world).

  27. I am glads to hear that Harris is raking the debate early next month seriously. She needs to fully understand the BS that Trump will try and then neutralize it, that will likely send Trump into a tailspin that he won’t recover from. Trump is used to being the bully, he can’t tolerate being beaten at his own game, especially by a woman.

  28. I’m a moderate, generally independent, but vote Democrat post-Trump, and I’m EXCITED. Before, it was a matter of not having choice, unless I wanted America to look like reality show trash.

    It’s not a “choose your old man” matchup. Harris will be reasonable on crime. Go after criminals, but be humane and with a mind toward equal justice for all. She actually helped get a border bill together, and the border patrol and border law enforcement is feeling very betrayed by Trump’s political ploy to kill that bill, “because it wasn’t good for him politically”. Harris seems to be America first. Trump is clearly looking out for himself and everyone else can f**k off. Failing to follow the Emoluments Clause is grounds for immediate removal from office IMHO.

    Walz seems like a nice, all-American, and I love that he’s a veteran, even though he didn’t serve overseas. He’ll look out for vets.

    The message of looking out for the middle and lower classes against the billionaires (like Trump) also resounds strongly with me and my wife. We generally don’t donate, but we’ve donated a couple hundred to their campaign.

    Looking forward to ending the Trump/MAGA reign of terror in November!

  31. Did these kids not hear what Trump said? Trump and others wouldn’t even allow these kids to protest, they would all be kicked out of schools or arrested.

    I am voting so that my family, my neighbors, my community here is USA is protected because I know if Trump wins we will be targeted because of our skin color and immigration status.

    “Completely Masculine” = Toxic masculinity jackasses. They’re the guys who make the rest of us look bad. The funny thing about them is, there’s always a root cause of their issues. It’s either a tiny penis or bad parents. Boo hoo, mommie didn’t love him enough or daddy didn’t respect him, so he acts out in defiance, as if anyone gives a rats ass. Right now, as I type this, there’s some jackass driving down the street with either no muffler or the car is rigged to be as loud as possible. I have no idea who’s driving that car, but I’d bet $1,000 he’s a micropenised mommie didn’t love him enough incel.
