Engels and Saratov were reportedly attacked by drones this morning. So far, reports indicate damaged buildings and at least 20 vehicles. One of the drones crashed into the tallest high-rise building in Saratov, falling about 12 kilometers short of the Engels military airfield.

1. This is not going to happen with drones. Only ballistic missiles can get there fast enough.

3. I have no doubt the Russia bots will try some false equivalencies here, but to try and head them from off: this was an unfortunate bit of collateral damage. Ukraine shot at a military target and missed. It happens.

   Russia aims at the civilian building from the word go.

4. Interesting. The video shows a drone, not a missile as some ppl are trying to point out based on the jerky movements alone. Profile wise, the drone definitely matches a UJ-28 Beaver but the supposed maximum operation range is 800km.

   Overall, this was not unexpected since the Ukrainians have already proven they can operate drones to strike targets even as far as 1200km. If the airbase of Voronezh and Volgograd are being consistent hit by Ukrainian drones, Saratov is not out of the question.
