I had high hopes for Arthur Melo. When we signed him and sold Pjanic to Barca, I was super elated. Because I was sure we had the better of that deal. Arthur had the ability to shimmy and change directions at a very short notice.
I honestly thought he had the ability to be someone like Sergio Busquets. But alas, here we are. Arthur ended up doing nothing worthy here at Juventus and left on loan to Florentina. And now he is again expected to leave, hopefully on a more permanent basis.
Not his one for sure! 🤣
Bernadeschi
Bernardeschi. He seemed like the real deal at Fiorentina
Idk what was so special about them in my eyes, probably being much younger than I am know and the Pogba hype that was all over but i thought that Mario Lemina would be a key player of Juventus…Same thing about Roberto Pereyra idk why in my eyes they were a breath of fresh air
Diego…he was good but was at the wrong place wrong time. I had huge hopes for Krasic and Estegarribia. Rooted hard for De Ceglie, Giovinco, Borriello. Shocked when Bedtner or Borriello didn’t perform. Marrone.
It’s looking like it’s going to be Chiesa..
Dusan if he doesn’t do well this season.
bernardeschi, I really like him from Fiorentina and even first year or two in Juve. Whenever he came in he looked good, sometimes trying too much but good. In the end he ended up trying too much and trying stupid things. lol
Pjaca was the 2nd one from last ten years. Shame because of injuries and happened at time that he was starting to get more minutes. Really think that he could be elite winger.
Pjaca seemed to have such a high ceiling but injuries stunted his progression. I remember Juve teammates saying how impressed they were by him in training
Krasic, his first season was good but then he just diminished, then Conte came and he was done. But holy shit that boy was electric.
I thought douglas costa would be better.
Diego, Pjaca, Khedira
Bentancur and Kulusevski
The two Spurs boys, Kulusevski and Bentancur
Giovinco, supposed to be the Italian Messi
Diego
Krasic
Definitely bernadeschi for me
Chiesa, Berna, Pjanic (could’ve done more)
For me personally all the high-fee Brazilians: Arthur, Amauri and Diego.
Plus Ibrahimovic. He was insanely good but left too soon without leaving a real mark. Plus he went to Inter when we went to Serie B so the disappointment felt huge.
Giovinco, I was such a fan of him but unfortunately he wasn’t suited for Conte’s 352
for me it was Pjaca , i thought we got a Gem , like first Pogba , but the injury really took out all momementum
Bernardeschi & Zakaria. I feel the latter wasn’t even given a proper chance despite scoring in his debut.
Diego
Buffon. Was expensive for a goalkeeper, but never really settled into the team.
I can make an argument about Costa. Personally, I find him to be the best dribbler in europe. But god damn injuries bro
Elia
It probably doesn’t really count since it was a short term loan, but I really hoped Dani Osvaldo would do better for us and in general.
