Today is the commemoration of the Odessa massacre. During October 22-24th, between 25 to 34 thousand Jews were brutally massacred in the city of Odessa and its surroundings by the Romanian and German forces

1. I assume it’s between 1939 and 1944 but might be helpful to add the year anyway.

   Horrible story though. I hope the world has learnt a lesson in that period but I’m not hopeful

3. The world has most definitely forgotten what steps led up to a tragedy like this.

4. Shame on the allies for doing far too little, too late, to track down the organisers and perpertrators of crimes such as this.
