  1. Figured he’d go to MLS, Saudi or somewhere before he retired but props to Tek. Super professional, great goalkeeper, we love you!

  2. Man had big shoes to fill after Buffon, he helped us through some tough times these last years, and then terminating his contract like that, what a guy, thank you tek

  3. So sad to see him retire from football so young. Thank you for everything Tek, you have been a good successor to Buffon.

  4. It’s sad he didn’t get a proper sending off, but he’s had a full career and was a good successor to Buffon.

  5. Thank you for everything Tek.. a great man as well as a great player ❤️

  6. Great guy, had a solid span with us, it was hard to replace someone like Buffon but he did ok. Good luck Tek.

  7. Probably the only promising and worthy player we’ve had in these hard times. Terminating his contract just like that was quite harsh, but we should all thank him for everything he’s done 🖤🤍

  8. Grande Tek! Being the successor to the greatest GK of all time was no small feat, but Tek made that transition seamless. Exceptional player and a great man 🤍🖤

  9. We should give this man a proper send off at our next home game, who cares if he’s not an employee anymore, just let him have one last round around the stadium, he deserves it.

  10. Nooooooo… he still have 2-3 more years top level football.

Grazie Tek, one of our best player in recent memory.

  11. Sometimes it’s best to retire when you’re at the top of your game instead of going downhill and then people question your talent. I was never his biggest fan but I can admit that he did a great job at Juve. He won us a lot of games because of some of the saves he made especially during the last few struggling years

  12. Grazie Tek! Couldn’t have asked for a better Gigi replacement, you were a great servant to the club.

Also fuck the multiple people in this sub who always said he was mediocre, you don’t know shit.

  13. Hope to see him back at Juve as an assistant or at some other role, he deserves gratitude for everything he’s done and for incredible professionalism, and the club can always use such a great guy in their ranks. You have my greatest respect, good sir!

  14. One of my weirdest football memories includes him taking a goal kick, and watching Arsenal with my brother in the nike era.

Thanks for all the years Woj u were solid.

    >I left Warsaw, my hometown in June of 2006 to join Arsenal with one dream – to make a living out of football.
Little did I know it would be a start of a journey of a lifitime.
Little did I know that I would get to play for the biggest clubs in the world and represent my country 84 times.
Little did I know that not only would I make a living out of the game but the game would become my whole life.
I didn’t just realise my dreams, I’ve arrived where my imagination wouldn’t even dare to take me.
I played the game at the highest level with the best players in history without ever feeling inferior.
I’ve made friends for life, created unforgetable memories and met people who have made an incredible impact on my life. Everything that I have and everything that I am I owe to the beautiful game of football…

    >But I also gave the game all I had. I gave the game 18 years of my life, everyday, without excuses. Today, tough my body still feels ready for challenges, my heart is not there anymore. I feel that right now it is time to give all of my attention to my family – my amazing wife Marina and our two beautiful children Liam and Noelia.

    >Therefore I have decided to retire from professional football.

    >A journey’s end is a time for reflection and gratitude.
There’s a lot of people that I would have to thank in this spot but I will try to that personally with each one of them. But to you – the fans I owe a special thank you for being on this journey with me. For the support and criticism, for the love and hate, for being the most beautiful and romantic part of football. Without you non of this would make any sense! Thank you!

    >Now, every story has an end but in life every ending is a new beggining.
What this new path will bring for me only the time will tell. But if the last 18 years have taught me anything it is that nothing is impossible and believe me, I’m going to dream BIG!

Grazie Tek! Enjoy your retirement and happy time with family!

  16. Thank you for everything, Tek! 3 x Scudetto, 3 x Coppa Italia winner, over 250 games for the club. Has been rock solid in one of the toughest moments at the club, took over from the greatest ever Gigi Buffon, tons of charisma of the pitch, always smiling, never complaining!

I really regret him not getting a proper farewall and a bit more transparency regarding his situation and eventual departure. I think he might not be amongst the mythical legends of Juve but has been a great and loyal servant. I actually find it a bit odd he got compensated 4 million to just leave the club. Juve saved 2,5 out of his 6,5 million this way (maybe also some bonuses which might have tipped the scale on the decision?). I think with a bit more overall planning Juve might have gotten maybe not a fee but an agreement with a specific club to let him go and save the compensation. I did not understand the rush to offload him, I would have kept him at least till the end of the transfer window and let Di Gregorio learn a thing or two from him if not on the training field at least on a personal level. I don’t thing this would have disrupted too much the training process.

Giuntoli must have hoped for the Di Gregorio transfer but probably did not want to rely only on a gentlemans agreement from Monza side.

I think that he would have stayed if he had the chance. I think how he departed Juve was a part of the

He now gets a full years salary and gets to spend a whole year with his family without having to stress about football, good for him!

  17. Amazing goalkeeper, even more amazing person. I’ll miss his great performances on the pitch, but I’ll miss even more his interviews: the most honest, sincere and humble player we’ve ever had.

  18. Congrats, Tek! Looking forward to the club giving him a proper send-off at some point later this season. The way he agreed to go out was pure class.

  19. Wow. Going the route of Toni Kroos. Head high, knowing well he could still go a few years, but rather retire before his name gets dragged and questioned. Grazie tek!

  20. Really shocked no one grabbed him, he’s still solid with a few years left could’ve stayed in serie a even.
