Four bodies recovered from Bayesian superyacht including Mike Lynch & daughter Hannah

TWO of the bodies recovered from the Bayesian superyacht have been confirmed as tech tycoon Mike Lynch and his teenage daughter Hannah.

Divers have found five bodies in total, but one is yet to be recovered from the water – and another person remains missing after the tragic shipwreck disaster off the coast of Sicily.

The search operation in Porticello has finished for the day and will resume tomorrow, the head of Sicily’s civil protection agency has said.

Billionaire Mr Lynch, 59 – known as “Britain’s Bill Gates” – and his 18-year-old daughter were both brought to land earlier today.

Two unidentified sets of remains have also been brought to shore – leaving families with an agonising wait for news.

A fifth body was found late on Wednesday in the wreck of the Bayesian – though is yet to be recovered.

I have a feeling that he made many enemies due to their envy and it's possible one or more could have contributed to this tragedy ,but in such bad weather as was the case / circumstance I think that was the true reason . Regarding his wealth all I can say is that money cannot buy true security in life . We will all die at some point ,or some way whether rich or poor.

  22. Yeh there something very fishy about this. A super yacht doesn’t just sink and how did it sink so quick it killed everyone without even a chance to deploy the safety boats.

  23. As a boat owner you'll know if bad weather is coming and you can berth your boat you'll reach the next harbor. On open water its a different story but they where next to shore. Seems really strange to me. Wonder if the captain had his instructions to stay out.

  38. Nobody should ever go on any kind of boat with no knowledge of how to swim. In any school system, anywhere on earth, before lessons on anything else, young children should be taught to swim! This is not complicated!
