Fuck going to an oasis gig in the central belt. I remember going to see the stones in Hampden and then in Wembly and what a difference. We had good seats for both gigs and in Hampden people on both sides in our row had their mates squeezed in so there wasn’t enough room and people were shoving and elbowing and being selfish cunts.
Meanwhile down in London I’m walking back to our seats while the Charlatans were doing warmup with a dozen beers and the steward opened a gate for me to let me through. People in from all over.
