Forget the polls, check your registration, and vote!
I don’t understand how so many redditors equate good news with an apathy towards voting.

See this is the stuff that makes me nervous. We haven’t seen a democrat poll this poorly amongst these demographics in literal decades.

https://www.fau.edu/newsdesk/articles/july302024pollrelease Was looking for what their previous poll had them at. Looks like the last time they polled from July 26 to 27, they were tied at 46%. So in the last month, it’s been a 4 point swing with Kamala gaining 1 point and Trump losing 3.
Incremental progress is the name of the game! We’re not going to see a huge swing over night but if these trends continue up to the election, that’s what’s critical.
Hillary held 6 point lead against Trump in national poll. She won in number of votes but not in electoral votes.
We should work double to convince our family and friends to vote against Trumpism or craziness in America.

Turn out to vote… especially in the swing states
It’s not enough to win. We need to win BY A LOT. There are now SEVEN battelground states. We need to get to 270 with no drama. Clear decisive victories in enough places with enough certainty that all the fake electors, officials refusing to certify, vague bits of video etc will have no affect.
Maybe America is really waking up.
This is important to note this was AFTER the RFK endorsement too from Friday.
Hillary was leading in nearly every major poll by 4-8 points and had a 78% chance of winning according to five thirty eight on Election Day. Doesn’t mean shit, go vote.
I love a good national poll as much as anybody to beat the drum but as long as state polling stays as close as it’s been I’m going to be anxious until the votes are counted
North Carolina becoming a swing state is very good news tho. The more paths to 270 the Dems can open up the better. Trump doesn’t have the money to fight in a bunch of swing states

At this point in the race she may have overtaken him by several laps. Still, vote, don’t get overconfident until Harris is seated in the oval office.
I gotta get this off my chest but I bet there’s a Newsweek article with the opposite headline. But if Kamala is ahead go out and vote because polls really don’t count until we go out to vote. Also I have still been seeing more Trump signs and people waving and wearing Trump merch all around me.
Who keeps making these polls? Every day since Biden dropped out, I’ve seen posts on here saying, “Harris has overtaken Trump in a new poll.” What is going on? Is it a really close election, and they both overtake each other daily? According to the frequency of these posts, Harris should have overtaken Trump about three weeks ago and not looked back. Is it all just propaganda? Should I just not trust the internet?😂

This momentum of the Harris/Walz campaign is like nothing I have ever seen before. It echoes the Obama run for prez back in 2008 but he had been smoldering for years before that campaign, Harris/Walz came out of *nowhere* and it is incredibly refreshing, like a cool, clear clean sip of fresh water on a breezy, sunny fall day.

Electoral college is a scam. Popular vote should be the only one that matters. Battleground state votes matter so much more than other states which may be why there is an issue with voter turnout.

How many times have I seen Harris overtaking Trump in news? This is like that gif where a truck is about to hit a barrier, forever.
These polls mean absolutely nothing. Trump has never won the popular vote. All that matters is the swing states and after the DNC it’s at best tied after favoring Trump. The glow from the DNC will soon wear off and Trump will lead again in these states.
Good momentum forward but national polls are just indicators, the battleground state polls are the ones to really watch.
