Catholics in Europe

  1. Religion statistics are illegal in France since 1978.
Whatever methodology was used, it wasn’t by polling us.

  2. Plastic Catholics in Ireland anyway. And your not allowed ‘defect’ from the church once you’ve been baptised. I was baptised at 6weeks. I’m in my 40’s now and have not allowed to officially defect.

  3. 21% for Czechia is 3x more than 2021 census said. (and 2x more than 2011 census said)

whole religious population not just catholic is not making 15% here.

  4. That 89% is quite a stretch in Poland. Yes, majority is baptised, but not really practice faith. The problem in Poland is the fact that there’s no secular way of apostasy (like in Germany), you have to go through the Church process, which is also often problematic and most people don’t bother.
