Manslaughter probe launched over Bayesian disaster as cops scour CCTV & review captain’s decisions

ITALIAN authorities are reportedly probing charges of multiple culpable homicide after doomed super-yacht Bayesian capsized off the coast of Sicily.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Termini Imerese, led by Ambrogio Cartosio, is working to find out why the luxury vessel sank off the coast of Porticello near Palermo shortly before 5am on Monday.

  3. The active area of a water spout can be a maximum of 2km on the surface of the sea.. (two close sister sea spouts have been filmed), They do not suck up water, only a water mist.. (India Today gives video + descriptive text on water spouts).. Conclusive logic would state that if the water spout hit the vessel broad side then it would flood the vessel with disturbed water as well as 'grabbing' the deck rigging and mast, causing it to turn over, causing catastrophic flooding through open hatches.. Watch the water spouts videos on U Tube and you will understand the force of these water spouts, even more when it is dark..

    But what strikes me…. In irony of his co-accused was out running and was knocked down and hit by a car and subsequently killed! The very same day…Very, very strange indeed. Anyone with a sane mind and able to free think for themselves should understand this. Anyway, Rip to the many that perished. Such a shame and tragedy. 😢

  9. The keel wasn't down and the gust of wind from the water spike was crazy strong so the boat got knocked down and couldn't right itself. It's not bloody rocket science.

  50. Spend nearly a billion dollars on a yacht a guy expects it to weather a storm. Seems both of them were overconfident feeling invincible with one popping out in front of a car and the other saying no problem the amount of money spent makes things safe.
