Whilst it would be nice for disgraced politicians to be kicked out, can’t help but feel we’ll be being stitched up if we can’t even have a by election to decide their replacement. This new voting system they’re introducing really is awful

I count three politicians in that photo – VG, Alun Davies (coughsAnnaMcMorrincoughs), and Speedy Gonzales herself – who should consider themselves unfit for either public or high office.

Also, the no by election thing is fucking stupid, I agree with the expansion, but the closed list way of doing it is shit and easily manipulated by the parties (no wonder the right wing want something similar in Westminster…)
