Ukraine bombarded by more than 100 missiles and drones in major Russian attack

Russia carried out a barrage of air strikes on targets across Ukraine overnight on Sunday and into Monday, launching more than 100 missiles and “Shahed” drones in Russia’s biggest attack on Ukraine in weeks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack on his country, calling it “vile.” He called on Western governments to stick to agreements to supply air defence systems and said Ukraine and its partners should make a joint air defence agreement.

“In various Ukrainian regions, we could have done more in order to protect life if… our European neighbours had worked together with our F16 and air defence,” he said.

At least three people were killed in the attack and explosions were heard in the capital of Kyiv. Power and water supplies were also disrupted. It comes as Ukraine has claimed new ground in a major cross-border incursion into Russia’s southern Kursk region.

  1. Zelensky should've signed that peace agreement in march 2022 when he had the chance. He could've kept all his territory, and all he had to do in exchange, was promise neutrality and stop fighting with the Russians in Donbass. But he decided he wanted war instead. What a fool.

  2. no way ukraine can beat russia are you kidding me.phhhhtt. and be dam sure putin is keeping a list of those who aid and arm ukraine..he wont forget

  3. Russia bad. Ukraine good. Oops, sorry, it’s a proxy war. I keep forgetting, Canadian media toe the American official story.

  4. To the lady who said "I would like to see a response to Moskva to make them feel what we feel…" Can't say it any better. Why are THEIR power grid, cell towers, tv towers untouched still?????

  5. At least 3 people killed but its the largest bombardment 😂😂😂😂 i thought Ukraine is winning and Russia is loosing 😅😅😅

  6. Joolenski is NOT the 'president' of 'ukraine'. His already ill legitimate regimes mandate, such as it is, expired in May. That aside, according the pretender Joolenksi own statement, energy infrastructure was the target, so…….why is the only thing being shown here is a purported 'farmhouse', allegedly destroyed by Russian missiles?

  7. Maybe another year before Ukraine surrender.. another failed foreign policy of USA.. maybe Ukraine should have stayed neutral instead of wanting to join NATO

  8. Stop this War…instead of providing weapons and more money. TRY Diplomacy…Innocent lives are lost daily on the Russian Front and Ukraine.

  9. And what did they expect by attacking Russia? Ukraine is not interested in peace – just in getting foreign military aid

  10. The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, saw traces of drone attacks during a visit to the Kursk nuclear power plant, he told reporters
