Any thoughts on this?
Likely a devolved decision but personally I think it’s encroaching too much on people’s freedoms.
Coming from someone who doesn’t really smoke, I do have the very occasional cigar once a month or so during the summer. Outdoors in my own garden, have never smoked in a pub or restaurant outdoor space.

Sports grounds, schools… Ok whatever idgaf.
Most trust sites already have a non-smoking policy in place but I never see it enforced. Although, if Charlene with a thirty year addiction needs medical treatment and she’s up on the ward for a week. Is it not better for everyone to let her have a bine?
Pubs and restaurants are already fucked. If you start telling cunts they can’t have a smoke with their £8 pint, they’ll just not go out.
Cigarettes are disgusting and I hate them but I don’t really know if banning them in public will help bystanders health when we have car pollution and other stuff anyway.
