Thought I'd post this here, fella did a great job discussing just how it came to thus with Lough Neagh, moreso than any single new source I've seen.
The short of it 'lack of political foresight and negligence' but lots of different factors contributed.
On a side note it's nice to see some high quality productions like this come from independent creators here!
