Leader of a country whose military weakness has been a running joke since 1945 capitulates again.
Remember the current majority party in Italy (and both of their allies too) were all in Putin pockets as the vast majority of right-wing movements in Europe.
The support to Ukraine they showed was necessary to get some kind of international recognition and avoid being further marginalized… but they would sell the entirety of Ukraine to Putin tomorrow if they could.

By the end of this war, the sale of military equipment to third countries will basically vanish, and the model used by Korea of building their own military equipment will become the standard.
Being forbade the usage of gear you buy, makes that gear less than useless and in truth a national threat.

Not sure why Italians need to be at war with Russia in order for Ukrainians to defend their home. Do what China does for russia, secretly say yes – then deny.

Some lessons have to be learned again and again.
As a reminder, the Italian government is one of the largest owners of the company which makes storm shadow and their industrial base was one of the original components of the conglomerate at it’s founding. Hint hint.
