  1. OP: After reporting a bug back in October of 2022 the Maltese Advocate General has just charged the students with several charges.

  2. Any other country, they’d be given a reward and offered employment after finishing school. Malta instead going backwards and making a complete ass of itself. Pathetic.

  3. Whoever decided to send these charges, should do Malta a favor and just retire in the other side of the planet somewhere.

Also pissing off cybersecurity people is a very dumb idea.
This is how you end up with your systems being hacked/ddossed etc by the more unhinged cyber security people.

  4. The Government could have used this as a super easy springboard to start to build cybersecurity up as a low risk, high income economic sector.

But no, let’s allow the lives of 3 great students and their lecturer to be absolutely ruined, and continue to bank on online gambling (with a Malta licence that means jack shit) and cryptos.

    Absolutely smooth-brained thinking.
