  7. It begs the question of why a person would support Trump when that person’s favorite musicians, favorite actors, favorite cultural icons despise the dude. Trump doesn’t participate in your life in any meaningful way.

    Seriously, “Republicans play music that angers musicians, especially when the song was a bad fit anyway” has been going on since the Reagan campaign played “Born in the USA.”

  22. In 2020, (i think, maybe 2016) trump used a White Stripes song and Jack White called him out then sold merch that said “Icky Trump” on it, as a play on the WS song Icky Thump.” he donated every penny to democrats. i have the tshirt.
