    Ukrainian Telegram says he was flying an F16, is that confirmed? They also say it was a patriot that shot him down due to miss communication.

  8. If I could say one thing it would be, this is why pilots are unique. Watch the US film “The Right Stuff.”

    These pilots are performing inherently dangerous actions using an inherently dangerous craft. And pilots die flying them.

  10. Let’s not forget that F-16s crash from time to time even in peace time in the hands of experienced pilots on routine training missions.

    And these are middle-aged F-16s…
