  1. I dunno? ….seems a lot like its just one ally that’s denying permissions and fucking things up.

  2. I don’t understand, Russia is running on fumes, a full out conflict would end in 48 hours with NATO involved.

  3. Not acting and worrying about escalation increases the conflicts duration and actually increases the long term likelihood of escalation with the invaders. They are very likely to want to push beyond Ukraine if allowed to get away with it.

  4. Remember only Russia is allowed to escalate without consequence

  5. Specifically Germany. Scholz has said he has to be careful as they want Germany to be in a good negotiating position when the war ends.

Like Russia/USSR has ever kept a promise. What a joke.

  6. If Ukraine is going to fall and they are going to be on our fucking borders will they be afraid of escalation too? Or only then they will realize and cry that they could have ended those mordorites years ago.

  7. Some cynical sarcasm; Ukraine is just great taking on the increased escalations for everyone.

Putin is dick; just end the war, be done with it. My synopsis.

  8. I am sorry Ukraine that we failed you. Thanks for holding out for so long tho. /rant

  9. “Fear of escalating”

To what?! Russia is not shooting into and invading our countries. And when they can’t even handle Ukraine presently, what are they going to do? Open another front with conventional war? Get literally vaporized in a thermonuclear holocaust?

“Leaders” need to cowboy up. This could have been ended two years ago, but they were too busy wringing their hands. If daily threats of nuclear retaliation for interfering with their genocide worked, when was it ever going to stop?

The only appropriate response to, “We will use nuclear weapons in response!” should have been a deadpan:

    “Push the button…”

Ukraine just broke a piece off of Russia proper. Other than a wave of missile and drone attacks, what have we heard out of the Kremlin? How long before “leaders” realize there is no other shoe going to drop? This is how he always reacts whenever he gets stymied: frustration and silence.

  10. At this point I don’t understand what US is doing. They are afraid of Ukrainian victory and openly sabotage agreed weapons deliveries? Who is running the show? Obama? Sullivan? Pathetic, really.

  11. Pootin is terrified right now, he knows if nato decides to allow Ukraine to use everything to there full potential he is finished, typical pootin more bark than bite. When he threatens nukes they should advise everything is on the table if he does not start withdrawing immediately. Nobody will allow pootin to use nukes when it is him that started the war not Ukraine.
The only way to deal with a bully is make bigger threats

  12. It’s Western allies that are propping up Russia as a state.

  13. I could understand that back in the day. At this point in time, there’s no reason to. There’s nothing to escalate. Putin has no power now. It’s the perfect time unleash decisions.

  14. the defending country can’t escalate anything. it is already fighting for its existence by a country trying to do everything it can to kill it. only the aggressor country can escalate

  15. The longer the conflict with Ukraine and Russia goes on, the more I hate being a westerner. Our leaders make us look like cowards, they make us look like we’re afraid of the fucking orcs. I’m sick of it.

  16. We need to keep supporting Ukraine, Russia has to be stopped there.. they will just continue otherwise and before long any of us could be in their sights, Innocent people do not deserve their blood to be shed because of the greed of someone like Putin.
