Russians raised their flag on the administrative buildings of the “Kotlyarevska” mine east of Selydove, Pokrovsk front. Battles continue already on the outskirts of the city. The situation is difficult and out of control. – Deep State UA

  1. I’ve been getting downvoted all day for saying that exactly this is happening.

  2. Yeah so I guess this front is done right? No chance of stopping Russia in this part for the time being?

  3. There is nothing wrong with ridiculing the slow russian advance over the past years. They earned it.

It was slow, a huge army struggled to take villages.

If, on this particular section of the front, after a year of russia embarrassing itself all over Ukraine, they do one thing right, I will find plenty of other things to keep ridiculing the russians with. They deserve it.

I am very aware of the bad news over the past weeks. And I will follow the developments. As soon as things show up that I can use to discredit the russian army, I will do so immediately.

But the fact that russia could not take both Kupyansk and Chasiv Yar in mere weeks, still makes them spineless cowards and bad soldiers.

Regardless of this rather successful offensive.

  4. Kursk offensive has stalled. Why is this front not reinforced.

  5. Duh, when one side attacks and the other side retreats, the attacker gains territory. What’s out of control is the commentary from hyperventilating people who don’t read the news.

  6. Ukraine needs to mobilise and get more troops and more arty on the front. Pokrosk is a city of 60,000 and nearly as big as Bakhmut.

  7. I’m starting to think that the brigades in Kursk should keep to limited attacks and allow the border guards and reserves etc to dig in and then redeploy them to pinch the Russian forces in the Donetsk salient.

Russians couldn’t have fortified that quickly a-la Kharkiv… but I’m just a guy playing risk on Reddit.

  8. Holy fuck some people in this sub.

Can any of you be bothered to watch for a couple weeks before making judgement? We don’t even know wtf is actually going on in Kursk ffs. Hell we thought Kharkiv would be gone by now, yet here we are.

Hold your tongues, let it play out, and then make your judgements. This is warfare, not a fucking table top game.
