Well theres the inly reason I ever voted FG gone. Taking applications for a new political home, must be in favour of cutting taxes, don’t really give a shit beyond that
Sinn Fein wants to abolish USC for those who make under €30,000per annum. Why can’t they just do that? Though I’d say with inflation and the cost of living rises, SF will need to look at that treshold number again. It’ll likely be more around the €34K mark.
But Leo promised in 2016 to do so
So this confirms they’re liars to the core right
Why don’t they create temporary higher tax for owning more than 2 houses to tackle the housing crisis…

It was introduced in 2010 by Brian Lennahon as a temporary measure. If it was approved by the Dail on that basis there is no democratic mandate to keep it.
