  1. Love this, this is way more relatable than any Tory attempts to look normal on their fancy vacations.

  2. Remember Michael Gove randomly appearing at a club and chucking shapes like he’d been snorting coke off a hookers tits all night?

Most of us never found him more relatable than in that moment…

Let her have fun FFS… We’re not New Zealand where attending a party is enough to condemn a bright political career

  3. On balance, probably better that our elected officials just go clubbing in Ibiza than staying for free on billionaire’s yachts.

  4. Great to see actual people running our country, good for her.

  5. So happy for her I met her once at an awards night she was fantastic.

  6. ‘Woman has fun in a club’ – I mean, so what…

  7. >And at an interview at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last August she said she was “proud” of her 12-hour raves. The politician, who is 44, said: “The girls I was raving with are half my age, and I was like ‘I’m a grandma’. I was proud of that. 4pm I started, and I got home at six o’clock in the morning when the sun was shining and I was like: ‘Yes, I can do it.'”

    >Ms Rayner said she drinks vodka during the raves. She added: “You’ve got to go with the music, the vibes. You’ve got to be in the moment and it takes you.”

    Based

  8. I reckon since people must wake up in the morning, take a good long look in the mirror and say to themselves……..

‘Now what can I find, to be offended by today then’

  9. Ok so guess if in politics fun is no longer allowed in your down time.

This is such a nothing burger.

  10. Reminds me of Gove at raves and discos. Granted he was allegedly coked up but it was the most normal a politician has ever looked.

Bit weird this needs reporting on, but it is The “Pay to Reject Cookies” Mirror (which ironically they say is to continue to provide top quality journalism).

  11. So, Gove can throw himself around a club in Aberdeen while coked out of his tits because his wife left him after he cheated on her, but Raynor singing in a DJ booth is notable?

  12. And? Good for her, politicians should do normal things so they can actually relate to people

  13. Heaven forbid someone partake in a normal activity

  14. NGL I would LOVE a night out with Angela Rayner. She looks like she’s genuinely fun to be with.

  15. Good, glad to know that she’s still able to enjoy herself, remains my favourite cabinet member.

  16. So like me a normal holiday that thousands of British people have and not paid for from a billionaire donor

  17. Good for her, everyone has to have a bit of fun from time to time.

Exact same situation as when Michael Gove hit the club – everyone was taking the piss, where I really couldn’t care less.

  18. Really makes the upcoming budget easier to swallow. Vile.

  19. And? Same thing as what happened with the Finnish PM, let her go out on the lash FFS.

I’d rather have a deputy PM who spends their holiday raving then involved in some dodgy oligarch’s personal bunga bunga event on a superyacht.
