Trump vows to ‘drill, baby, drill,’ as U.S. produces more oil than any country

3. “Drill baby, drill” makes no sense to anyone who understands that the US is setting new world records for oil and gas production… under Biden. The people who cheer and pump their fists when he repeats this non-sensical chant are those who fell for his earlier lie that Biden “shut down US oil production.” Maybe Trump himself believes his own lies. He reportedly gets his information from Fox News so that’s plausible.

4. It’s a fine balance.
   Too much oil and a glut is created, causing prices and profits to go down.
   Not enough oil production and then oil gets expensive again. Maybe, we just all get electric cars and reduce our demand to levels that create a situation where demand is consistent, and prices do not vary much at all, they don’t fluctuate significantly , even with disasters and scheduled maintenance oil prices would not really vary either.

5. Send it. If the prices go down they won’t drill as much and we get cheap energy, if they go up other energy forms are naturally more cost appealing. I’d rather this than government intervention in the market. There will be a long period of very expensive energy if/when oil starts to become more scarce which will stimulate other energy technologies naturally

6. He is another GOP oil shill. Last of a dying breed I hope.
