My family sent me a package from Poland to UK on 23.08.via Poczta Polska. On the 25th, according to Poczta Polska's tracking, it was "sent from Poland". The above image shows the tracking via Parcelforce, British company that works with Poczta Pl. Apparently for the last 5 days my package seems to be in no mans land, no data limbo between two countries. Does anyone experience something like this and should I be worried? If the package has been sent out but after 5 days hasn't arrived in the UK system what is happening with it?

  1. I already contacted both PP and Parcelforce and I’m waiting for the former reply.

  2. Probably nothing….I sent my stuff via PP to SEA and it took a month. The tracking never move beyond exported.

  3. Long story short time to UK depends how much your family paid for shipping.

Registered letter? Up to month + weekends + hour when it was send ( Ship )

Registred Economy Parcel ? 2 weeks+ weekends + hour when it was send ( Ship)

Registred Priority Parcel 8/9 days + weekends + hour when it was send (plane)

EMS Pocztex 7 days. + weekends + hour when it was send , (plane). Worth to remember price for this extra few days is adding even 100% of shipping cost.

There are things we don’t see in in international shipments. For example whether the Parcel left Poland at a good time or of it was waiting somewhere for the next planned transport. How long does it take in the UK to open/check parcels now, Sometimes even few days after reaching the country the parcel waits for someone to have time to open and scan it.

In the US, for example, sometimes containers can wait up to two weeks for someone to open them. or month if extreme cLog.

We also have customs and tax offices, they can hold up to day or week if they dislike someting.

In the future, if you want to receive something in a very short time, you will have to pay at least three times the price of a normal package, to up 6 times. And send it by another courier company to which you pay additionally for its time. Poczta Polska don’t have such express service

From what i remember most of these are called “Express” usualy.
