1. Who could have seen that coming? Oh yeah, scientists from their research. 

2. Wow. It’s more hot. And now land is dry.

3. The fossil fuels overlords won’t stop until well after that percentage reaches 100% unless they’re literally **forced** to stop. There will either be changes in the laws to stop them, or there will be all-out war when **not** stopping them causes widespread starvation and death, but they won’t stop **willingly** as long as they believe there’s still more money to be had, because money is their one true god.
