  1. It’s kind of embarassing to watch BAE execs celebrate the rollout of a warship hull they know full well can’t survive in a modern battlefield.

    It’s not a defense tool to them. It’s pure profit margin and a gaslighting campaign.

  2. It is deeply embarrassing that these only cost slightly more than the SNP’s Ferguson Ferries.

  3. It’s a shame that it’s always so negative here. Top level comments so far (and in most threads) focussing on the negative.

    One area of manufacturing we (Scotland & UK) are still amongst the best is building warships and building subs. And building Type 26s is a good example of that capability.
