2. So completely justified. They killed a bunch of terrorists, hijackers, murderers and thieves, all without harming any of the aid workers.

   Who knows Hamas was planning to do with the aid truck. Likely try to use it as camouflage so they can murder civilians which is their main goal and calling since they were founded.

   Anera says the 4 armed people were helping guard the convoy. Israel killed them because they looked like they were hi jacking the convoy. 

   I think this is an understandable mishap because of the random men taking control of the lead vehicle of an aid convoy.  

   The men are not confirmed to be guards or terrorists. 

   The article is steeped in biased language.

5. Unfortunately, all the western left is going to remember is the initial emotional response to the story that an aid convoy was shot at

6. This incident reveals the dangerous reality that humanitarian aid efforts can be hijacked/weaponized in conflict zones. It’s shocking how quickly a convoy meant to save lives can turn into a target because of militant exploitation.

    The Arab world has mastered this strategy to manipulate Western audiences. Doesn’t help either that anti semitism is universal which aids the bias.

12. So what’s the actual situation here? Seems like either 1) Anera was delivering the convoy to Hamas/PIJ intentionally, or 2) Anera was intentionally delivering the aid to a group of unvetted, unannounced (to official channels) armed men that are not Hamas/PIJ.

    Either way, they’re not supposed to be doing that right?

    Any other plausible explanations? Seems like rogue employee selling the convoy is more likely than the whole company doing it.
