  1. We had just come home from a party and turned on the tv. We couldn’t believe the news. It was so unbelievable. No way did I think we had lost the people’s princess. 😢 😭

  4. One of the first major news stories I remember prior to 9/11. I was 4, almost 5. I was so sad that a real-life princess had died. That’s the age little girls obsess over princesses, so I was heartbroken.
