4. Trump is a cunt, but he’s but the only one over there and eventually another twat like him will take over. Europe, including the UK, really needs to work together on the assumption that the USA cannot be relied upon long term as either a trading partner or a defence partner.

9. If Trump gets in then he will stop backing Ukraine and start helping Putin. That’s fine for the US which has never fought a modern war on its soil and has ocean between them and Europe but for those of us with skin in the game I think a Trump win means we put distance between us and the US and start getting closer to others in the EU region to defend ourselves because the US is not fully aligned with us any more.

   If he loses then his advisors are as irrelevant as the Tory leadership election.
