  5. Do people think it is incompetence or a stalling tactic that he always seems to file these motions last minute? He had the date set months ago but files a very important motion just over a week from sentencing date.

  21. Juan Merchan needs to sentence him to prison time. I think considering context like how he just keeps committing crimes and how dangerous he is that it really wouldn’t be all that hard to argue it’s the right thing to do.

  27. There is a wearying element to all this kind of “trump gets different treatment” stuff. It wears on us all and it feeds the fire of cynicism.

    It’s easy to think shit will never happen to this guy.

    But sooner or later karma is going to catch up to his ass and he’s going to fall ill, suffer like ordinary humans, then die alone because his family hates him and he has no friends.

    What happens until then is probably best understood as just noise. Vote for Harris, get others to vote, and let karma take care of things.

  28. I primarily want Trump to lose because I think it would be devastating to the future of this country. But, I also want him to lose so that all of this bullshit ends. No more hopes of pardoning himself. No point in trying to stall anything. If he loses, it’s all going-down. I know the universe is a cold place and there’s no such thing as right or wrong in the grand scheme of things. But I really want to see this guy punished for being one of the ultimate POS human beings of all time.

    And, I guess I just guaranteed I’ll never serve on a jury in one of his trials.
